Domesticated
Last week while making some ricotta-stuffed shells and homemade tomato sauce I was stirring the sauce and it splattered on my cute, semi-new H&M shirt. This was not the first time that something like that has happened. The more I have been cooking (which I hope not to slow down), the more crap has been getting on my cute clothes (unless I am cooking in my sweats, which certainly happens as well). Therefore, I feel as though it is time to bite the bullet and get a damn apron.
In an effort to look a bit more like Betty Draper and a little less like Betty Crocker, I have been searching for a few cute, somewhat vintage inspired beauties. Now, just take a peek at these picks and imagine a martini in hand and some indie music, old school rock or NPR, depending on my mood, and tell me which is the most flattering coverup.
I’m leaning toward the first one, but what are your thoughts?

Top, for sure.
I like the first one SO MUCH! It’s totally you. And it has good coverage. I love the last one, but knowing me, I’d spill all over my shirt & the apron would be completely useless!
I love the first one. So cute and I think it matches the overall look and feel of your house too. Yes, I like to match my aprons to my house-I’m telling you it’s a sickness!
top…as cute as half aprons are…they don’t stop stovetop spatters!
definitely loving the first one!
Out of the three, I think the first one’s your best bet. I would say the last one, but you need something that’s going to cover your torso.
The first one, definitely. And like Jackie, I match my aprons to my decor.
Wonderful! Number one it is. Looking forward to getting it.
I love the first apron best. It’s sassy and sexy but still functional. LOVE IT.
I bought a couple of aprons for the same reason but I never use them. I either forget or can’t be bothered. I like that first one though for fall. Very cute.
i absolutely love the anthropologie apron!! the print is so cute! now i want some aprons of my own, not for the kitchen but to wear out!
