If you have kept up to speed with my posts thus far, you know I am obsessed with boots. And like most things, I have a favorite (pair). These boots also seem to be admired by a lot of others as well, from friends, to random folks on the street, to many of you new, kind readers. Unfortunately, these happened to be one of my few splurges, so they don't necessarily go with the whole affordability theme of our site. However, as I briefly stated before, I think there are certain items you can and should spend a little more on. Boots are not the exception to that rule. Especially a well-made pair from Italy that smell of sweet, sweet leather. These beauts came from a little shoe store in Brooklyn called, Bentley's, that specializes in women with boats for feet - up to size 13 to be exact. I'm a few sizes smaller, but this place was right up my alley. I stumbled across this store as I was trying to explore my new neighborhood and was taking a walk to the Brooklyn Promenade. Should've known I'd end up shopping instead. Anyway, they are Evado, and I don't like talking about my splurge prices as much as the amazing steals I find, but they were on sale and I had never seen any like them before so I just had to have them. I think they look great with brown, black, and blue skinny jeans, as well as with tights and dresses. They've already taken quite a beating and I've only had them since February, but I really do love them and think they were a well thought out purchase that will last me a long time.
